Winter Pruning & Mower Gas

Those beautiful ornamental grasses that are so pretty in the winter are a huge fire hazard. If they are planted close to your home you want to prune them back now. We show you the easy way to prune them so they don’t blow all over your yard. It’s also the perfect time to prune back your shade trees because you can see the branch structure now that all the leaves have fallen off. We show you the proper technique and method of keeping your trees vibrant, healthy and strong. If you have gas in your lawn mower, storage can or snowblower it’s probably gone bad. The new fuel mixtures are only good for about 30 days and can do major harm to small engines. Now is the time to add a fresh tank of fuel to the mower and add Stabil Fuel Stabilizer and top if off. This will keep from doing damage over the Winter. Before you start up your snow blower this year – drain out old gas and safely dispose and make sure you purchase fresh gasoline every 30 days.
